दरभंगा | ईंट भट्ठा व्यावसायिक संघ, दरभंगा की ओर से मंगलवार को सूरज बैंक्विट हॉल में खनन विभाग एवं वित्त (वाणिज्य कर) विभाग के साथ एक महत्वपूर्ण बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक में कर भुगतान की पारदर्शिता, राज्य के राजस्व संग्रह में वृद्धि और विभागीय समन्वय को लेकर विस्तार से चर्चा की गई।
बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए राज्य कर संयुक्त आयुक्त-1 प्रतिमा कुमारी ने ईंट भट्ठा व्यवसायियों से अपील की कि वे अपने पास उपलब्ध कोयले के स्टॉक, उत्पादन की मात्रा और बिक्री के आधार पर ईमानदारीपूर्वक टैक्स का भुगतान करें। उन्होंने कहा कि समय पर और सही कर भुगतान से विभागीय कार्रवाई से बचा जा सकता है और राज्य के विकास में योगदान सुनिश्चित होता है।
उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि कंपाउंडिंग ईंट भट्ठा संचालकों को 6 प्रतिशत तथा सामान्य भट्ठा संचालकों को 12 प्रतिशत की दर से कर भुगतान करना अनिवार्य होगा। किसी भी प्रकार की कर संबंधी समस्या होने पर व्यवसायी सीधे विभाग से संपर्क कर सकते हैं।
बैठक में राज्य कर संयुक्त आयुक्त-2 ज्ञानदीप प्रभाकर, राज्य कर उपायुक्त तरुण कुमार, वाणिज्य कर अंचल-1 एवं अंचल-2 के अधिकारी तथा खनन विभाग के पदाधिकारी उपस्थित रहे। ईंट भट्ठा व्यवसाय संघ के अध्यक्ष जयराम प्रसाद सहित जिले के सैकड़ों व्यवसायियों ने भाग लिया।
अधिकारियों ने एक स्वर में सरकार को देय कर का समय पर भुगतान सुनिश्चित करने की अपील की। बैठक का मुख्य उद्देश्य विभाग और व्यवसायियों के बीच बेहतर समन्वय स्थापित करना तथा कर नियमों की स्पष्ट जानकारी देकर भविष्य में प्रशासनिक या कानूनी जटिलताओं से बचाव करना था।
